Do you think the shuttles will be running after the race start from the pond to the HS? Trying to determine if I should drop my bike at the swim and bike back to the HS or just take the shuttle back to the run start.

I don't know. That's why I pointed that out in the first place because you might have to race back to the HS. You've got time. Alex is not going to break records.

Julie, I looked threw all the logistics and couldn't find the return bus schedule . You could asked in the morning, but have your bike just incase you think riding back will be quicker.

Thanks all for coming. If only we could have half that turnout for a workout. I could use the draft.

Nice to see everyone! Thanks to those who occupied the kids so that I could enjoy some adult conversation. Would love to see some of you for a bike ride (preferably the hills of RI) before the cold weather is here to stay.

I'm away the next 2 weekends but we were floating the idea of a mountain bike ride, preferably not too technical, early October. Anything close to Norfolk/Wrentham /Medfield area? There is Rocky Woods on Hartford St in Medfield but I'm not familiar with anything further south or west.

We should all do one cross race! You can use a mountain bike and the training would be a hoot! There are a few that aren't technical and as long as you can corner and run you'll be fine.

I don't own a mountain bike. In fact, I've never been on one.

V-if you're interested I have a spare mountain bike you could borrow. It would be a little small, but I always felt it was to big for me, so might work. You'd probably feel more comfortable on a slightly small bike anyway.

And we offered J-Bird to use one of ours. I'm sure we can find more if we ask around.

Pretty sure Wrentham state forest connects to Foxboro state forest with lots of trails. I'll check it out this weekend.
