Just thought I'd thow it out to the team to see if there is interest in rallying a crew to enter the Team Challenge at TRI-MANIA Boston at MIT on Sat, 3/29. An entry in the Team Challenge gives you a 4-person team in the Campus Dash (a 2.9 mile run on the MIT campus), the Computrainer TT (10k) and the Swim Challenge (each member swims 200 yards). Each 4-person team in each competition must have at least 1 female.
There's some good prizes for individuals and teams in each competition and for the top 3 teams in the overall Team Challenge. We'll again have free swim goggles for each person that does the swim. And, in the next week or so, we will announce the giveaway of a free training weekend in Waterville Valley NH for 8-10 athletes sponsored by Muscle Milk. The training weekend includes accommodations, meals, swag, nutritritional support and, if desired, coaching assistance. The training weekend will be awarded randomly to one of the teams in the Team Challenge. We expect to have 25 teams so there's a 1 in 25 chance of winning.
