Let me understand this. The US has been in the last few WCs, Belgium hadn't been in one since 2002 I think. The US was supposedly in the group of death (highly debatable but that's another topic), makes it thru, and yet is still an underdog to anyone left in the competition. How is that possible? I think the coach had a great plan going and it almost worked. Make the other teams take control of the games and just counter once in awhile. This was the first game that Belgium didn't play smart. They were patient in the other games and should have stuck to that plan. And maybe they should learn how to shoot at the ball instead of hitting the turf. Kudos to Howard for saving 2 or 3 goals, but the rest were just easy picks that my sister could have stopped too. And can Hazard help on defense once in a blue moon. The left side for Belgium was like a highway until they got to the left back.
Not sure if you guys read this but the king and queen of Belgium were at one of the qualifying games and met with the players. The queen congratulated the black dude (Lukaku) who plays forward. Unfortunately, she congratulated the wrong guy who was getting crap in the press because he was useless (until they played the US).

Argentina. Belgium played like crap. Even the US could have beaten them...maybe.
