I've gone back and forth so many times about doing a Tri this year. The idea of learning to swim again is daunting, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Right now, I'm signed up for a10K trail run on June 7th and two MTB races, one in July and one in August. There may have been a thread already with everyone's races on it, but I didn't feel like searching for it. So, what is everyone's race schedule?
Also- Is there anyone that I could talk into doing a MTB race or some MTB rides?

I am signed up for a single tri, Pumpkinman sprint. I have all summer to learn to ride my bike again. I also expect to throw in a few 5k or 5 mile races over the summer and then do another half in October. Getting ready for the half on Sunday was so easy…unlike packing for a tri. Of course, if I had planned better I probably wouldn't have worn a cotton t-shirt.
I don't have a mountain bike and I'm probably too much of a chicken to ride on trails anyway.

I decided this weekend I am going to do the Massachusetts State Tri, an olympic, in late July. I'm signed up to do Reach the Beach NH in September and I'm still debating a fall marathon (Bay State most likely).
I'm game for mountain biking. I added an offroad tri to my Westboro race last summer and our new race in Waterville Valley has an offroad tri, too, so I'm using that to rationalize getting a new mountain bike though I have one to use now as needed.

Mark-Adding the off road tri is very cool! I'll have to think about that. Lisa-Rocks, roots and trees are more forgiving than cars

Margaret, the Westboro one is local and nice, but the Waterville Valley one is really a nicer offroad bike course and trail run. The Waterville offroad tri is Sat, 8/2, and then on Sunday, 8/3, we'll have trail (and road) races. There are 4.5 and 6.5 mile trail run options (5k and 10k road runs). No pressure!

It is likely that I will be up that way for the latter part of the Summer and would love to do a mtn bike race.
