Meet at 9am at Sharon HS. Start at 9:15 sharp! Probably 2 or 3 laps. Please reply if you're coming. If I don't see any replies I'll just ride from my house.
Reminder that we're swimming tomorrow (Thursday) at 5pm in Dedham.

I think I got the "omen" to come back to Massachusetts today. Had to dodge a rattlesnake in the bike lane near the entrance to McDowell Park. A bit scary.

Poor you, 85 degrees, no snow and a little rattlesnake.
I am in for Sunday ride. Maybe we should call it the heathen ride.

I had to dodge one when I was running on the river path, turning back on to Craycroft. Then there was the time I found one coiled up with the hose in the backyard. And last summer when our cat spotted one under a bush also in the backyard. I could also bore you with stories of scorpions hiding under my laptop and in our small patch of grass, or of my friend who found a tarantula on the wall in his bedroom, or of another friend who had a mountain lion sleeping pressed up against the slider on her back patio.
Never knew I had such awesome ninja skills until I moved to Tucson.
I'm out for Sunday. Happy Easter!

Tarantulas are not that bad. Neutral on scorpions (been stung before). I hate snakes and can imagine why you beelined back to MA with 3 kids in tow. We lived in ATL for a year and Margot woke up screaming once as a huge beetle fell on her face in the middle of the night. We used to vacuum them off the walls.

28 miles, as always the back stretch of the loop had a headwind. Some things never change. Lots of sand still on the streets, Sharon needs to get out there. And some sketchy sections of road, as always. That's why I like riding in Dover. Thank you, Bobby, for making sure I was always on your wheel, thank you Tony for organizing the ride and thank you Greg for being a giraffe (and blocking the wind).
