Just checking if people still check the forum once in awhile.
Anyhow, Greg and I are running (jogging/walking) a trail race in Carlisle on September 12th. Margot is going to walk the 10k. There is also a half marathon (starts at 8am). And a 50k and a 50 Miler (both start at 6am.) I believe Bobby has made this race an annual event, and Matt just confirmed he will run the half or 50K. All races take place on a 10 mile loop or 10k loop.
Anyone else wants to join the pain? Let us know!
Registration ($25, any distance) and info on the TARC website.
Hope to see you all soon.

What distance are you and Greg going to attempt? Matt is doing either the half marathon or 50K? There's a big difference between the 2.

Greg and I are signed up for 50 miler. I guess matt is going to decide based on his training and maybe the weather. If it doesn't cool off, I think we may have to cut it short too. Are you back to running?

Tony, what time do you think you guys will finish the 50 miler? I'm doing a 66mile bike from Glouster on Saturday morning. I'm thinking you guys would be finishing around 1pm. I'd love to see you cross the finish line.

Trail Animal Running Club, I think.
I think finishing by 2pm would be a miracle, 3pm more likely but not surprised if it's between 2 and 3pm.

How did it go?

Matt finished the 50K (first time). I ran 40 miles (longest ever for me) and plan to go back to shorter (faster stuff) now. Greg had a tough day and still ran 30 miles. Margot walked the 10K in 1h52' There was a wasp attack at mile 19. Got stung 5 times in 10 seconds. Many people were and one went to the hospital.
Did you think the Carlisle race was in Holiston? :-)

Impressive! The wasp part sound terrifying!
There are two 5k races in Holliston the next two weekends!

Well done all. Those are some serious miles... and sound like some serous wasps, too.
