I'm running the 2015 Boston Marathon for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. I'm pretty excited and was wondering who else was running.

I wish I were doing it, but unless I raise $ for a charity I'm out. I'm doing the South Shore 1/2 marathon on 11/2 if anyone wants to join me.

Not this year. I just signed up for the Newburyport Half on October 26th, though. And I'm close to pressing "REGISTER" for the Phoenix marathon in January.

Congrats Margaret! Have you run Boston previously?

I was really tempted to sign up for Phoenix. It looks like a great race to try and qualify for Boston. Says it's flat, which is always a plus, I just don't have the time or money to do 2 marathons in 2015. I do think it would be awesome to earn a number someday, but this time in going to run for a good cause. This will be my first marathon, not counting the ironman. I was hoping someone else was doing it so I'd have a training partner

My sister is running the Bay State marathon this month with hopes of qualifying for 2016. I have a friend in Tucson who just qualified and is running in April. I have another friend in Sarasota who qualified on the Boston course this year and will be back again in 2015. My, cousin, a freshman at Tufts, got a number for April through the school. Not that any of these people could serve as training partners for you, I guess, but at least I'll have plenty to cheer for on Marathon day. As for Phoenix, entry fee is $100. JetBlue flies direct and I shouldn't probably throw this out there...but I think I can get cheap seats for two tagalongs. Not free, and no guarantee yet (Dave has to hit the 6 month mark), but cheap. And I have friends I/we can crash with. I'm planning to travel solo, so company is welcome!
