Jocelyn and I were talking yesterday and we thought it might be fun to do The Dover-Sherborn Triathlon as a team, and to try and get as many Infinitri members to also be on a team. I know there are allot of injuries, and lack of time to train, but surely we could all suck up one or two legs of a sprint. My first idea would be to have as many team as we could with one female and one male. The three legs (don't go there) could be broken up how ever you want--Example-One person could swim and then bike and the other team member could run OR one team member could swim, the other team member bike, and the swimmer also do the run. Get it? We could have our own trophy for the winning team!

GREAT IDEA!!!! How did it seem so much easier to find the time to train a few years ago even for a sprint. I was planning on finally doing this Tri. I'm totally game for a Team Relay style. Sign me up!!! Whatever leg(s) are helpful I will do (but honestly, my 9min miles probably won't be helpful....swim, bike I could be more helpful:)

I would be interested. I don't have any strength or weakness anymore, just equally bad at all three. But I like the team aspect and think it could be fun.

I'm already signed up to suck at all 3 on my own. I think Greg is in too. You should try to get Bobby to do transitions for you. And where is Derek? Still waiting for the race report.

That's going to suck when the teams get beat by you sucking.

I haven't officially signed up for D/S yet. I'm doing Pumpkinman Half a week before, so a team relay sounds more appealing than doing it all myself.
Plus it will avoid the endless excuses I'll here from T, when I beat him.

Awesome Greg! Do you have any preference to which leg?

I can't handle one woman , never mind 4 but count me in anyway . Obviously ye will want me to swim but I would rather bike or run if possible . Just let me know what you need me to do . Thanks for organizing ladies .

Great idea Margaret. I'm in! I'm doing Reach the Beach the 2 days before, so I may be dragging a bit but I'm definitely in. Also, over the years I have been working on getting my daughter Maddie to do a tri even if it's part of a relay team and I just spoke to her and she's game for doing this one (we can make her an honorary Infinitri Junior member for the day). Maddie can do the run and I can do the swim or bike with another Infinitri member doing the 3rd leg. Or, if needed, I can do the swim and bike.
